October 2007:
- On October 20, 2007, the Palm Beach County Guardian Ad Litem Program was invited to appear on the radio show Aqui Contigo, broadcast in Spanish on WPSP Spanish Radio 1190 AM. Lourdes Castillo and Bruno Renda were given the honor to represent the Program and answer calls from listeners interested in knowing more about the wonderful work we do.
- What we thought would be a short “cameo” on the show developed into a 45-minute “question and answer” session between the audience and us. The success of this first appearance resulted in another invitation to the show at a different time. This will allow us to address a more diverse audience and grant us more exposure in the Latin community, possibly earning us the Spanishspeaking volunteers we need so much.
